Latin American Studies

As coordinator of the Latin American Studies interdisciplinary minor, I help students choose courses to complement their major, to fulfill their requirements, and to help reach their future goals. Send me an email (mollycball@rochester.edu) if you are a student, faculty or staff who would like to be added to the Latin American Studies list-serv.

  • Talk about upcoming courses and opportunities.
  • Declare your Latin American Studies minor!
  • Learn about community-engaged and research opportunities.

Undocumented Students

I am a faculty representative on the University of Rochester Undoc/DACA Support Advisory Committee. The University’s CCAS site provides some helpful links to university resources and staff. If you have questions related to majors, minors, specific opportunities, or the logistics of navigating the Rochester/Western New York area, please reach out or set up an office hours appointment.

History

Thinking of being a University of Rochester history major or minor? Looking for an advisor? I’m happy to advise any student as they navigate the major, but will be particularly set up to guide students pursuing a major in the following specializations: Latin American History, Global Perspectives, and Social and Economic History. I am also ready to guide students interested in questions immigration and migration and of urban history.
